The Kindness in Action board is comprised of dedicated individuals who believe that change begins within.  Everyone on the board is a volunteer.  There are no paid positions within this organization and the Board covers all of the administrative costs.  Our policy is one that will maximize every dollar we receive from our donors which means that 100% of every donation goes directly to our projects overseas.

Founder, Chairman and Executive Director Rachael Blair lives in Maryland.  She has a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Pennsylvania, a Diplome Superieure from the Sorbonne University in Paris and a Master’s Degree in Social Anthropology from Oxford University, England.  She has worked for many international organizations in the US and abroad (United Nations - Italy, Refugee Unit - England, Voluntary Service Overseas - China, Foreign Affairs Ministry - France,  Ministry of Education - Japan, Educational Management Group - USA).  She spent 5 years taking teams overseas to build homes with Habitat for Humanity International.  She attributes the success of Kindness in Action to the enlightened people she has met.
Secretary/Treasurer Dr. Loudon Blair lives in Maryland and currently works an an engineer for Ciena Corporation. Loudon received his Bachelor’s of Science degree (Engineering) from Dundee University, Scotland and his Doctor of Philosophy degree in Engineering from Oxford University, England. 
Vice-Chairman Rose Stevens lives in Washington.  She is an investment advisor and volunteers for the Sons of Norway and Habitat for Humanity International.
Service Advisory Board Members  Linda Owens shares her time between Maryland, Florida and Italy.  Andrew Comer lives in London, England.
