Overview General Rumiñahui Primary School is located approximately three hours from Ecuador’s capital city Quito in Pichincha Province. It was originally in a state of disrepair and required the construction of a classroom, kitchen, dining hall and refurbishment of windows, doors and classrooms. This renovation project lasted 4-6 months.
Role Kindness in Action and Rotary Club Quito Occidente teamed up to fund the renovation of Rumiñahui School. Kindness in Action donated $6,710.95 towards refurbishment costs.
Accomplishments Work was completed in February 2010. Rachael Blair inaugurated the new buildings in a special ceremony.
